Sofia Gutierrez

Fluent in Spanish and English, Sofia coordinates national broadcast media outreach for Halldin Public Relations and its clients as well as coordinating the firm’s Latino media outreach.

Sofia has pitched and secured appearances for clients on many networks, including regular appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business Network and guest appearances on the CBS Evening News and the FOX News Channel.

Sofia joined Halldin Public Relations in 2005. Prior to joining the team, Sofia worked at Digital Insight, an Internet banking company based in Sacramento.

Sofia’s experience includes two years in radio promotions with both KZSA “La Zeta” and KRCX/KSXX “Radio Tricolor” in Sacramento. While at these stations, her roles consisted of planning events, recording commercials and reaching out to the Latino media to promote community events.

In 2007 the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce named Sofia its Volunteer of the Year.

Sofia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications studies with an emphasis in organizational communication from California State University, Sacramento.
