Jeff Weidel

Jeff is a respected journalist who spent 25 years in the newspaper business. He joined Halldin Public Relations in March 2006 after serving as editor of The Press-Tribune in Roseville, Calif. Jeff also held posts at The Sacramento Bee, Auburn Journal, Lincoln News Messenger and The Placer Herald.
As a former newspaper guy, Jeff’s unique perspective allows him to better tell our clients stories to the media- with strong results. Jeff consistently places our clients stories in multiple newspapers, as well as with the local television stations and radio stations. Jeff understands the business and that understanding provides a huge benefit to our clients.
On three occasions while at The Press-Tribune, Jeff was awarded first place by the California Newspaper Publishers Association (CNPA) for best feature story. Under Jeff’s leadership, The Press-Tribune took second place in the General Excellence category in the CNPA contest. In 2004, he was awarded second place for column writing by the Suburban Newspaper of America.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Delaware.
